Little is known about the immense Ber'taa class. It is a new Klingon design. Equipped with the best the Klingon navy has to offer, it is a match for any ship from any other race. The Excelsior is outgunned by this monstrosity.

A known weakness of the Ber'taa are its warp drives. Repeated torpedo/phaser fire will destroy a drive relatively quickly.
"The most difficult enemy, for me anyway, is the Klingon Supercruiser. The only time I've been able to destroy it was when I was below, above, or beside it and took out engineering. I also took it out once by targeting their warp drive—it must be tied into their weapons because once it was disabled their disruptors were severely cut back.
